Ole Thomas is a Berlin-based cinematographer and editor specializing in film, music, and performance-driven storytelling.
Born in 1980 in Berlin, he graduated in 2010 from the Escuela de Cinematografía y del Audiovisual de la Comunidad de Madrid (ECAM) in Madrid. His work combines cinematic precision with an intuitive sense of rhythm, shaped by extensive experience in live music cinematography, music videos, and studio recording documentaries.
He has filmed live concerts, intimate acoustic sessions, and behind-the-scenes studio productions, capturing not only performance but presence. His visual approach focuses on atmosphere, emotional nuance, and the dynamic interaction between sound and image.
Alongside music-related productions, Ole works across narrative film, documentary formats, and commercial projects. His background in editing allows him to think structurally while shooting, he’s anticipating rhythm, transitions, and emotional arcs already on set.
Fluent in German, English, and Spanish, he collaborates internationally with directors, musicians, producers, and creative teams.
